Bitterroot Trophy Mule Deer Hunts
Units 250, 261, 262, and 270 offer a limited-entry hunting experience, providing excellent chances to hunt mature mountain bucks. Tag holders can expect to observe 6-12 bucks per day, many scoring 170+. Every year, deer in the 180–195+class, and regularly, bucks 200”+ are harvested in these units..

Wilderness Mule Deer Hunts
Hunt deep within the Bitterroot National Forest near the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness for trophy bucks in remote, low-pressure areas. These backpack/spike camp-style hunts run from October 1st and require good physical conditioning due to the rugged terrain.

Price includes guide and backcountry meals but excludes backpacking gear, transportation, and gratuities. A 28% draw success rate applies for Permit 240-50.
Successful applicants will be hunting from a camp deep in the heart of the famed Selway-Bitterroot wilderness for trophy bucks. We will be covering deep, remote basins that see very little, if any hunting pressure. This hunt is a unique opportunity to pursue big mountain bucks with a rifle starting October 1st.
Applicants should be in good physical condition to withstand the rigors of a remote wilderness hunt. A packer can be added to help clients carry gear for an additional fee. Although this is a draw permit area the odds of drawing a tag are around 28%.
Hunters must apply for deer permit 240-50.
Wolves can be harvested for no additional fee. Non Residents can purchase up to 5 wolf tags
Mule Deer Public Lands Hunt
$7,000.00 per person
Fully guided five day hunt, either 2x1 or 1x1.
Lodging, meals, guide gratuities, hunting licenses/tags/permits, bow or rifle, arrows or bullets and personal items such as hunting clothes and backpack, etc.
Tips can make up 50% of your guide and cooks’ total earnings for the year. They work from dusk till dawn to give you the best hunt possible, so every dollar is hard-earned and greatly appreciated. Average is 20% of hunt costs.
Clients will be provided a gear/packing list upon booking.
